The energy generated from the test fire in the heating chamber follows a standardized temperature-time curve. B15 fire class proves that the temperature at the cold side does not exceed the standardised limits for a period of 15 minutes. The procedure for other fire classes follows the same procedure. |

B-Class Systems* are exposed to the fire for 30 minutes and must comply with stability and integrity requirements within this time. |

A-Class Systems* are exposed to the fire for 60 minutes and must comply with stability and integrity requirements within this time. |

H-Class Systems* are exposed to a hydro carbon fire for 2 hours. The test procedure is similar to the A-class test, but the rate of temperature rise is far more rapid and to higher temperature level. |
*All systems shall be constructed of approved non-combustible materials
